I started this blog on October 16th and didn't feel "inspired" to post it, but now the time is right. It was Fast Sunday and I was sitting quietly on the back row, trying to be invisible, as I tend to do from time to time. People were getting up and bearing testimony of the truth. I was listening, but not intently, then Brother Carter got up and bore a simple testimony that God lives and Jesus is the Christ and our Savior among other things. I don't remember his exact words, but I will never forget that the Spirit of the Holy Ghost bore testimony to me as he spoke that it was true and my eyes filled with tears of joy as I felt the Hand of the Lord in my life.
Just last week he was put in the Bishopric, I was not surprised.

Aren't moments like that such confirmation to our testimonies? The Spirit touches us when we least expect it.
yeap! :)
I hope your cold is all better and you had ag reat weekend! :)
The power of the Holy Ghost is available to all of us but especially when called on by he Priesthood. On Tuesday afternoon the 9th about 2:00 P.M. RaNae came home from work with all the symptoms of the flu. She went right to bed, got warm and stayed there. I asked her if she wanted a blessing and she said "Later, let me get warm and rest." That evening, my son Chris and I gave her a blessing and the next day although she did not go to work, her strength and appetite returned and she fully recovered. Yes, the power of the Holy Ghost is real and our testimonies brear the truthfulness of it. UL
I love moments like that, such peace. :) Thank you for sharing.
Hey!
How are you!? I hope you are enjoying this season. I wanted to finally responde to your posts.
Who was I disgusted with?
I don't really know haha. The media in general I guess. Society, the committee of 'they'. Just had one of those days - that blog was sparked when I was watching a CNN report (not by choice) in the post office.
And yes! That's a great observation - Jesus was a long term thinker and knew why and what He was doing - maybe that was a comfort to Him. I don't want me saying that though to at all minimize His agony. It wasn't just a gory ugly death -- it was an agonizing, long, unbearable pain and suffering. Nothing like we would understand today is my guess.
Thank you so much for your comments as always - I love your insight. Have a great weekend! :)
