Enden-Monday with Anthony

Monday was a holiday, Tarzan and I had a billion things on our list. Anthony was on the list, but he kept getting pushed lower and lower on the list because businesses would be closing and we needed to get the table saw into the shop and we needed to buy some walnut and we needed to buy some paint and the plumber decided to show up at 4:00 at the condo we rent out and then he didn't come after all. Everyone was busy and most people were rude. We were very frustrated and as the day drew to a close we just went home and I decided to visit Anthony Tuesday morning before going to work.

It's Tuesday, I arrived at 8:30 a.m. Anthony died at 5:00 a.m. today.

How strange it is to know there is nothing you can do and yet needing to do something. We were going to talk about Anthony's childhood today, now I won't get the chance until the eternities.

So hard. But aren't you glad you found him and had the chance to say goodbye, if not on Monday?

You are a great friend and support, Sandi. Thanks for your example. I'm sorry you didn't get a chance to say goodbye, but I'm sure he appreciated the refresher of you the past few weeks.

This may sound strange but I think you are the same Sandi that spoke in my ward last Sunday. Anyhow, I came upon your blog by inspiration. I don't know any other way to explain it. I just wanted to say thank you for your message regarding goal setting and the scriptures. I felt like it was for me. I appreciate your words and am so thankful for the spirit you brought to the meeting. It was one of those sacrament meetings where you go home feeling changed. I think we were in the Laveen ward together for a short while before it split and I remember you teaching Relief Society and always enjoying your messages. So again thank you for you wonderful talk. May the Lord bless you in your service.

What a shock! Are'nt you glad for the time you spent with Anthony who was a part of your life. Belief in the hereafter is great. We'll be able to progress while making closure to things of the past as you intended to do with Anthony. You are a caring person.
